Cairo and Nile River Cruise

Before setting sail on the Nile, we’ll spend two full days in Cairo, giving us time to experience the city’s most iconic ancient treasures without rushing. Our Cairo sightseeing will include the Pyramids of Giza, entry inside the Great Pyramid of Cheops, a camel ride with the pyramids as our backdrop, the legendary Great Sphinx, lunch overlooking the pyramids at 9 Pyramids Lounge, and a visit to the spectacular Grand Egyptian Museum. It’s the perfect introduction to Egypt, combining bucket-list landmarks with time to truly take in the history and scale of this extraordinary destination.

From Cairo, we’ll continue to Luxor and board the Farah Nile River Cruise for seven nights, cruising along the Nile and exploring some of Upper Egypt’s most remarkable temples, tombs, and archaeological sites along the way. After our Nile journey, we’ll return to Cairo for one final night, giving us another opportunity to experience the capital before our journey home.
